Raku Ceramic Diffuser

Diffuse your essential oils in this beautiful raku pottery diffuser! Artist Diane DeBaun crafts each diffuser by hand—no two are the same. Fill the ceramic bowl with water, and add 5–10 drops of essential oil. Place a votive or tea light candle beneath (if your candle is small, prop it up on the included brass cup), and enjoy the soft glow as your essential oils silently diffuse into the air! Note: Candle not included. Doubles as a resin burner when paired with white ash, charcoal tabs, and resin of your choice.

Beautiful piece, but . . .

It's a beautiful piece, however it did not come in a box or with instructions. It diffuses a very subtle aroma, which is a nice change from a standard diffuser. It does take quite some time to heat up and emit that ever so slight aroma. I have tall tealight candles which helps, but I was expecting it to work more efficiently. You have to be very careful with the ceramic diffuser as it is not a stable piece and can be easily knocked over.

We also like to point out, oils should not be dropped directly onto the charcoal or into the ceramic dish. When wanting to use essential oils in this diffuser, fill up the bowl about 3/4 full of water. Then add your essential oils to the water. Do not add any carrier oils as this will cause it to smoke. Dangerous

This thing blew up on me and sent candle wax flying. So glad I was right there or else something worse could have happened. Don’t purchase this I am very disappointed. When I first got it, I was seeing soot in the bottom of the ceramic and was told that was normal. Not really!! The piece that you can use to elevate the candle made it too high and regular small tea lite candle not high enough.

Beautifully Crafted

I finally splurged and got this in bronze and teal. It’s our Sabbath today, but cant wait to light a candle at sundown to enjoy.
