Different diffusers work uniquely with essential oils. Ultrasonic diffusers create a fine mist without heating the oils, preserving their therapeutic qualities, while nebulizing diffusers offer a more concentrated aroma.

For the best performance and longevity of your diffuser, use distilled or filtered water, as it helps prevent mineral buildup that can affect diffuser function. However, most diffusers also work well with tap water if distilled water isn’t available. Always fill the diffuser to the recommended water line indicated on the device, ensuring not to overfill, as this can impact mist output. Following these guidelines will help keep your diffuser running smoothly and provide a consistent aromatic experience.

To maintain optimal performance and prevent residue buildup, it’s essential to clean your diffuser regularly. Start by emptying any leftover water and oil between uses to avoid the growth of bacteria or other microbes. For a deeper clean, fill the tank halfway with clean water, add a few drops of white vinegar, and run the diffuser for a few minutes. This helps remove any remaining oil residue. Afterward, empty the tank, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a soft cloth. Always refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines for specific cleaning instructions, as different diffuser types may have unique requirements.

Assembling your personal inhaler is simple and takes just a few steps. Start by selecting the wick type that best suits your needs; each inhaler comes with both an unbleached polyester wick and an organic cotton wick. The polyester wick slides easily into place, while the organic cotton wick may require a toothpick to tuck it into the inhaler securely. Next, add 10–15 drops of essential oil directly onto the wick. For our Arome inhaler, a reusable metal and glass model, securely close the metal cap to preserve the scent. For our blank personal inhalers, simply snap on the end cap after inserting the wick. Our personal inhalers and Arome inhalers both allow you to enjoy the benefits of essential oils on the go, but they differ in design and reusability.

• Arome Inhalers: These are reusable metal inhalers featuring a glass vial inside, protected by a durable aluminum cover. They come with two choices of oil-absorbing wicks—unbleached polyester and organic cotton—both included. To use, choose a wick, add your essential oils, and insert it into the glass vial. When the scent fades, simply unscrew the top to add more drops to the wick or replace the wick entirely.
• Blank Personal Inhalers: These are convenient, single-use plastic inhalers designed for individual use, lasting around 2-3 months. They also come with polyester and organic cotton wicks. Once assembled and snapped shut, personal inhalers aren’t intended for regular reuse, although you can carefully remove the cap to replace the wick as needed. For a longer-lasting, reusable option, we recommend our Arome Inhalers.
