It’s sometimes called Douglas pine . . . but Douglas fir is actually in the same genus as the evergreen hemlock, Pseudotsuga.

I just love the smell of Douglas Fir. While I was taking my " COMPONENT BLENDING" class I learned about how emotionally uplifting and stabilizing this oil is.I think that's important! I have used it in making foam and melt-and- pour soap. It smells so fresh, alive and clean. As Always, Beverly M

Experience with this oil is great. Not a huge fan of it alone but blended with cinnamon and orange makes a beautiful Christmas blend!
