Safety Information

  • Kid Safety: This blend is safe for kids 10 and over. For kids between 5 and 10, decrease the essential oils by half.
  • Pet Safety: N/A
  • Shelf Life: The ingredient with the shortest shelf life remaining becomes the shelf life of the entire blend.

Directions

  1. 1. Place a measuring cup into a pot that’s about ¼ full of simmering water. The water will heat the measuring cup from the outside.
  2. 2. Melt the beeswax in this cup. Use a glass stir rod to gently stir. (A stainless steel spoon also works great!)
  3. 3. Add the kpangnan butter, coconut oil, and jojoba oil to the almost melted beeswax.
  4. 4. When butter and oils are melted, remove from heat and stir in essential oils.
  5. 5. In a small bowl, blend the kaolin clay and arrowroot or cornstarch powder together.
  6. 6. With a wire whisk, start to gently whisk the melted oils as you pour in the kaolin clay and arrowroot (cornstarch is a substitute for arrowroot). Whisk well!
  7. 7. Pour into 4 - 0.35 oz deodorant tubes. Gently put on tops partway until cool. In approximately 1 hr. push the tops down all the way. Wait for 24 hrs before using it.
  8. 8. Makes 1.8 ounces of the finished product.
