I've only been using it a few days. So far no weird synthetic sensations. Smells pure, feels natural. I'm using it internally a drop on my tongue then touched to the roof of my mouth for health reasons a few times a day. So far it's my favorite Frankincense of the many brands I've tried. Aromatics makes the best everything. I've been using their products for 7 years now.
