According to Essential Oil Safety by Tisserand and Young (second edition), oils containing chamazulene could present a theoretical risk in that it could inhibit drugs metabolized by CYP1A3, CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 such as antidepressants, calcium channel blockers, and some chemotherapy drugs.

Love Yarrow!!. I used on my dog who had an aggressive staff infection under the skin. This skin was red/bruised looking, hard/swollen, and had a lesion. I used Yarrow and German Chamomile to combat the infection. Literally, 10 seconds after applying the GC, the site started to drain and drained for 2 days with application about 6-8 hrs. Within 2 days the site was a good color and the swelling/hardness had disappeared. I then alternated Yarrow and GC until it cleared up. these are both safe for dogs and I applied with vet's knowledge (also along with the antibiotics).

I haven't had a chance to make a blend with this yet, but am hoping to soon. I ordered it after watching your webinar on the 3 blue oils. I think the smell is just like yarrow that I have grown in my garden. I don't mind it at all!
