Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis

Our certified organic Sweet Almond Oil is unrefined and cold-pressed from the sweet edible almond tree Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis. Sweet Almond oil has long been used to improve complexion and skin tone due to its emollient and moderate skin-penetrating properties. Comprised of over 60% of monounsaturated oleic acid, this carrier oil is great for massages, blends to help decrease the occasional inflammation, especially with joint stiffness, and has wonderful antioxidant properties. This oil is rich in linoleic acid (20-30%) and vitamin E. This oil is naturally almost odorless.

    Almond oil

    My favorite way of using almond oil is by using it as a carrier oil with other essential oils in a hot bath. It’s very soft on the skin and nourishing for the skin

    This Sweet Almond Oil is a great GO TO oil for body butters and more !!!!!!!!

    It is very difficult to find high quality and organic sweet almond oil. This oil is wonderful to add to a whipped shea body butter blends. It smells really nice and it hydrating and soothing to the skin. I LOVE this sweet almond oil and I plan on using it for my whipped shea butter body butter blends and other salves and balms ! ! !
